2008 "X" Band Camp
August 18th - 23rd, 2008

A Fun Read & Preview of Marching Band

ALL MARCHER MEETING - SUNDAY, AUGUST 17TH AT 6-8PM IN THE BAND ROOM!
Mr. Fotland and camp staff will provide an introduction and overview to the exciting week ahead. Parents are WELCOME! There will also be a music rehearsal.

Reminders & Tips!
- Watch weather forecasts and come prepared with sunscreen and rain attire as necessary.
- Get lots of rest during down times and get good night sleeps. Bring snack food if that is what you need to keep your energy up through the long days and evenings!
- Come with a positive attitude and be prepared! Have your instruments and music/drill on hand at all times.
- HBBA will have water on site, but you can bring your own if you have specific desires.
- Make sure your have enough to eat and stay energized. Bring healthy lunches/dinners and snacks or make arrangments to have nutritious meals dropped off to you.
- REMINDER! NO ENERGY DRINKS ALLOWED AT CAMP - NO EXCEPTIONS, THEY WILL BE REMOVED!
- Limit soda! Water is what your body NEEDS!

Monday (18th)- All day at Hilhi
8:00am - Registration Opens in the hall way of the DM Band Building. Make sure you bring your completed 2008 Band Registration Packet completely filled out and have your Fair Share Fees in hand. All Scholarship requests must be approved in advance of Registration by Mr. Fotland. NO EXCEPTIONS - NO PAPER WORK/NO DEPOSITS OR PAYMENTS.......NO CAMP.

9:00 - 12:00: Basics/Marching Drill (Outside)
12:00 - 1:30pm: LUNCH BREAK - bring your own!
1:30 - 4:30pm: Sectionals/Music/Full Band (Inside)
4:30 - 6:00pm: DINNER BREAK - bring your own!
6:00 - 9:00pm: Drill (Outside)

Tuesday (19st)- All day at Hilhi

9:00am - 9:00pm - Marching, Music and Drill all day.
12:-1:30 Lunch break
4:30 - 6:00 Dinner break

Wednesday (20th) - All day Hilhi

8:30am - 11:30am - Marching, Music and Drill
6:00pm - 9pm - Marching, Music & Drill
**Link Crew - no on campus activities from 11:30 - 4pm

6:00pm - 9pm - Marching, Music & Drill
